i have three red eared sliders
n they have this pond/pool where the hang out n stuff
i often change the water and clean the pond/pool
and salmonella bacteria gets into my hands right???
was wondering if like regular antibacterial soap can kill the bacteria??

so I was cleaning my pool today after it rained really hard last night and i noticed a bunch of black spots on the Creepy. when i looked closer they were moving! I saved them and put them in a plastic tub of water and they are all still moving so…no what? how long will they take to hatch and when they hatch what do i do? what do tadpoles eat?

and yes i know that they are frog eggs i googled it.

we purchased a big pool and we bought the shock treatment chlorine tablets more filters leaf skimmer ect u name it but our pump went out we are waiting on another one but the water kindof stinks and its not clear like before. also how can we get the leafs that are on the bottom? do they make something special for that please help

i have an ingrown infected toenail that seems to be improving with the warm water and epsom salt. i havet to go to the family pool party later. last time i went swimming thats when it got infected. can i go swimming if i clean it immediatly after swimming? will i be ok? i dont want it to get bad again.

I am 21 years old and I like a girl who is 27 years old. She works at the local pub, I only play pool in there, I do not drink. I have known her for almost 4 years. Around about 3 years ago she had a boyfriend, yet she seemed really friendly with me. One night she slapped my behind when her boyfriend was in front of me, he couldn’t see it, although she had been drinking that night. Another time she was working and she was saying that she was going out that night, she had asked me if I wanted to go with her and her friend, she gave me her number and asked me to text her later on. I ended up not going because I had been working the door that night and it was too late. Another time I was up the town and she had asked me to go down to ‘Life’, a club lol, to see her so I did, but I never sat with her and her mate long.

I was out a couple of years ago and so was she, it was a Sunday night and her birthday, my birthday was on the Monday how weird is that? Haha! Anyway, she was now single and in ‘Life’, again, she was feeling my leg at one point, me being me had no clue how to react to this, I thought ‘well she is really drunk and has probably no idea what she is doing’ so I never done anything, not that I would have know what to do anyway. That night we had left the club and were heading along the street to a pizza shop and she put her arm around mines as we walked along the street. She hugged me as I headed home saying ‘I’m really glad you came out tonight’ or something to that effect.

Last week I text her if she would like to go to the cinema with me to see Toy Story 3, she replied ‘Yea as long as u get sweeties x’ I took that as a geniuine yes and asked her when she wanted to go, no reply. I text her the next day to see how her night was, she had been out, no reply. I went to see her about this at work but it was quite busy at the bar so I never said anything, neither did she on the subject, she just worked away cleaning.

I text her again during the week, no reply, and I sent her a message on FB yesterday and she never got back to me, she has been on since though,

What do you think?

- Do you think she could or does like me?
- Is the age gap too big and she maybe just thinks of me as a cute kid?
- Would the alcohol have had an effect or do you think her feelings were the reasons behind some of her actions?
- I also maybe thought that because I had never reacted to the ‘leg rubbing incident’ that she thought I never liked her?
- Do you think that she would be interested in going out with me or was she just having a laugh? Would she do that?

I’m visiting my grandmother who has a pool, and I’ve noticed that when I go into the deep end (to the bottom) to get toys for my cousins my ear really hurts. I know its pressure but I’ve never really had that problem before. This pool is only 9 ft deep at its deepest.

So yesterday I felt like my ear needed to pop or like it had something in it. And to add the the odd feeling every time I burped (which I don’t normally do often), my ear really hurt and kinda popped. I felt like my ear was plugged most of the day and read online that placing a warm cloth over my ear might make it feel better. So I put one over my ear just before I went to bed.
This morning I woke up and my ear felt fine until I sat up. I felt like the was fluid in my ear so i got a Q-tip and gently cleaned the outer part of my ear canal (not in it just a little bit so as not to irritate it). There was blood on the Q-tip and when looking in the mirror, dried blood on my ear and a little bit on my pillow.

As I said I’m not currently at home so I can’t see my doctor right now… I don’t go home for another week. I am worried because when I was little I used to get ear infections once a year but I haven’t since I was about 8 and I’m now in my mid teens. If possible I need to know if I’m actually sick asap because there is a family party tomorrow and there will be lots of little kids there that i don’t want to pass this onto.

Also my nose is sometimes runny and I don’t have a fever.
